ABOUT NCCCM
We Are Agents of Transformation: Bonding, Building and Blessing!!!

Our church plant began in January, 2002 as a Bible Study in a local library. As the lead pastor, Pastor Dawn C. Burrell began casting the vision for New Creations Christian Church and Ministries. Pastor Burrell's husband and daughter were the only other founding members. The Lord told us to "take the next step of faith" which was to look for a suitable location to hold regular Worship Services, but also have the ability to expand in order to accommodate the Outreach Ministries to be implemented. Once we identified the land the Lord wanted us to possess, we began canvassing the area. We went door-to-door asking key questions, sharing the Gospel and letting people know what New Creations had to offer.

On April 14, 2002 New Creations Christian Church and Ministries held her first Public Worship Service. Then on June, 24, 2002, New Creations Christian Church and Ministries officially united with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Washington, DC where Bishop Michael V. Kelsey, Sr. and Senior Pastor of New Samaritan Baptist Church, serves as our State Bishop. On December 8, 2002, Bishop Kelsey formally installed and consecrated Pastor Dawn C. Burrell, then-MIT Charles E. Burrell and New Creations Christian Church and Ministries.

New Creations is a vibrant, warm and loving Church Family that is excited about serving the Lord and reaching outside our comfort zone. Through our 26 ministries, we are seeking to be relevant yet relational. As we are walking in faith, trust and obedience, we are ministering hope, help and healing to those who are hurting.

We are "Agents of Transformation: Bonding, Building and Blessing. (Ephesians 4:1-3; 1 Peter 2:1-5; Ezekiel 34:25-31). We are bonding families together, building Kingdom citizens, and blessing our community. We are declaring our "Sixth Year and 2008 ~ Our Year of Expansion." We are going somewhere!

We look forward to you're worshiping with us soon. Our prayer is that here your needs will be met. Come go and grow with us!
