WHAT WE BELIEVE

About The Holy Scriptures: The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God, and are the only authoritative rule of saving knowledge, faith and obedience (Psalm 1; 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

About God: We believe in the Triune God. - The Eternally Self-Existent, "I AM"; the Creator of heaven and earth and Redeemer of mankind revealed to us as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being (Genesis 1:1; Mark 1:10-11; John 1:1-3).

About The Fall Of Man: God originally created mankind in His own image, free from sin in a state of holiness and perfection. Through the temptation of Satan, he transgressed the command of God and fell. The Fall resulted in the physical and spiritual death/separation of mankind from God (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; 5:12-21).

About The Mediator: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the divinely appointed Mediator between God and man. Having taken upon Himself human form, yet without sin, He perfectly fulfilled the law, suffered and died upon the cross for the salvation of sinners. He was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended to His Father, and is seated at the right hand of God forever living to make intercession for us (Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 7:25; 8:6; 9:11-22).

About Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God. Saving Faith is the belief on God's authority, revealed in His Word concerning Christ; accepting and resting upon the work and Person of Jesus Christ alone for salvation, sanctification and eternal life. Faith is wrought in the heart by the Holy Spirit, and leads to a life of holiness (Romans 1:16-17; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-10; Hebrews 11:6).

About The Church: The Lord Jesus is the Head of the Church, which is His body. The Church is made up of all His true disciples, and in Him is invested supremely all power for its government. According to His commandments, Christians are to associate themselves into Churches. He has given needful authority for administering that order, discipline and worship. The scriptural officers of a Church are Bishops or Elders (Pastors and Deacons) as well as other spiritual leaders and members (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:11-16; Colossians 1:9-18; 1 Timothy 3:1-13).

Baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus, instituted through His Church, where every disciple is immersed in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as a sign of their fellowship with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and of their giving themselves up to God, to live and walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-5; 1 Peter 3:21-22).

The Lord's Supper. The Lord's Supper is an ordinance of Jesus Christ, instituted through His Church, to be administered with the elements of bread and wine, and it is designed to commemorate His death, to confirm the faith, and to be a bond pledge and renewal of their communion with Him, and with their Church fellowship until His Second Coming. (Mark 14:12-26; 43-50; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Tithes and Offerings are God's way to open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. The tithe is a holy thing and 10% of your gross income. We give because we are obedient. We give because there is a need. We give because we shall receive (Malachi 3:8-12; Proverbs 3:9-10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Luke 6:38).

The Resurrection. The bodies of men after death return to dust, but their spirits return immediately to God; the righteous to rest with Him; the wicked to be reserved under darkness to the judgment. At the last day, the bodies of all the dead, both just and unjust, will be raised (1 Corinthians 15; 2 Corinthians 5:8: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

The Judgment. God has appointed a day, wherein He will judge the world by Jesus Christ, when everyone shall receive according to his deeds; the wicked shall go into everlasting punishment and the righteous into everlasting life (2 Corinthians 5:1-11; Hebrew 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15).
