Elder Dawn C. Burrell is the Organizer and Senior Pastor of New Creations Christian Church and Ministries located in Lanham, Maryland. Starting with three members, in March of 2002, this church ministry continues to steadily grow. Pastor Burrell has a heart for God and a love for the people of God everywhere. She has assisted in birthing serveral church plants, organized ministries, and has been called by many, a trailblazer and a pioneer. In December 2002 Bishop Kelsey formally installed and consecrated Pastor and Minister Burrell and New Creations Christian Church and Ministries. Bishop Kevin V. Gresham, Senior Pastor of Greater Saint John Church, Upper Marlboro, Maryland - House of Elijay presently serves as our pastoral covering.

Foundational Scriptures: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17-21) and "The theif does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

Vision: "To create a multicultural atmosphere of acceptance and safety whereby all disciples may reach their full potential in Christ, experience oneness with the body of Christ, and to reach others in the world for Christ."

Mission: "To win and develop disciples determined to reach their divine destiny through evangelism, worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry; to consistently provide biblical help, hope and healing for those who are hurting; while teaching them to apply biblical solutions that will help them experience new life, which is an abundant life in Christ. We believe in ministering to the whole person. We also believe in equipping the saints to do the work of ministry; which includes having a global mindset for advancing the Kingdom of God."

We flow in the gifts of the prophetic, teaching, and healing ministries. We are also experiencing the abundant life that can only be found in Jesus Christ because we are committed to lift up the Savior, stand on His Word, walk in His Spirit and help others through service.
