Even though Pastor Burrell thanks the Lord for the many great men and women of God who poured into her life and some still do, she owes her deepest gratitude to the Late Reverend Eugene W. Weathers, her spiritual father and Pastor Lisa Weathers-Hall. Bishop Lyle and Pastor Deborah Dukes, Empowerment Fellowship of Covenant Churches currently serve as Pastor Burrell’s spiritual covering.

Pastor Burrell loves people and has ministered to all people that the Lord has allowed to cross her path. While her heart is drawn to women, youth and families, Pastor Burrell carries a five-fold ministry anointing for the nations, and such a burden for all souls. While ministering hope, help, and healing to those who are hurting she also seeks to equip and empower the body of Christ to effectively do the work of ministry in advancing the Kingdom of God. One of the Scriptures that has impacted her life is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says, the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
